This worldwide society is a lay organization of Catholic men & women, young and old of every race, numbering about 100,000 of whom over 60,000 are in the United States. The members meet in parish and district groups in order to help in a personal way those in need.
Perhaps you or your family was once assisted through a parish SVDP group. There is still the need to reach out to those around us. Be it sickness or disability, mental or physical, family problems, loneliness or aging, the society supports and operates with the aim to bring concern to those in need.
